13 NEICAAA Athletes Named CSC Academic All-Americans

Boston, MA (July 15, 2024) –The NEICAAA proudly announces that 13 student-athletes were selected as Academic All-Americans. This prestigious honor, awarded by The College Sports Communicators (CSC), was given to nine men and four women from eight NEICAAA schools.

 

MIT led the way with five Academic All-American selections, four men and one woman respectively. Graduate student Kenneth Wei received his 3rd consecutive 1st Team CSC Academic All-American selection and fourth consecutive selection overall.

Harvard was the only other NEICAAA school with multiple selections. Distance standouts and Olympians Maia Ramsden and Graham Blanks received 1st team accolades.

Babson, Holy Cross, Southern Maine, Southern New Hampshire, Tufts, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute each had one athlete selected.

  • Brian Fennelly, Junior, 3rd team – College of the Holy Cross

  • Graham Blanks, Junior, 1st team (second selection) – Harvard University 

  • Maia Ramsden, Senior, 1st team – Harvard University 

  • Sam Acquaviva, Graduate, 1st team (2nd selection) – Massachusetts Institute of Technology

  • Sam Engebretson, Junior, 2nd team - Massachusetts Institute of Technology

  • Henry Hadart, Senior, 1st team (2nd selection) - Massachusetts Institute of Technology

  • Julia Howarth, Senior, 3rd team - Massachusetts Institute of Technology

  • Kenneth Wei, Graduate, 1st team (4th selection) - Massachusetts Institute of Technology

  • Ivan Appleton, Junior, 2nd team – Tufts University

  • Ben Drummey, Senior, 2nd team (2nd selection) – University of Southern Maine

  • Kelsea Seamans, Graduate, 3rd team – University of Southern New Hampshire

  • Grace Hadley, Graduate, 2nd team – Worcester Polytechnic Institute
