Boston, MA –The fields for both men and women have been finalized for this weekend’s New England Intercollegiate Outdoor Track & Field Championships (NEICAAA) scheduled for The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Each event has been completely filled in expectation of a high quality and potentially record-setting two days of competition.

These championships represent the 135th edition for the men and the 48th for the women in what are the second oldest collegiate outdoor track & field championships in the U.S. Both the men and women will compete beginning Friday morning. The first events for the women, the 100m Hurdles in the Heptathlon and the hammer throw, will begin at 11:00 am. The men also get underway at 11:00 am with the javelin and the pole vault. The men’s javelin features Southern Connecticut’s Division II “All-American” Jordan Davis, the two-time New England Intercollegiate champion. Earlier this season Davis set the all-time NCAA Division II national record with a toss 83.77 | 274-10. Davis currently leads all NCAA javelin throwers with his performance.

Friday’s schedule includes six finals in the men’s and women’s competition. All other events are trials, including the first day of competition in the men’s decathlon and the women’s heptathlon. Saturday the competition begins at 10:00 am with the men’s decathlon -110m hurdles, and the women’s heptathlon - long jump.
