NEICAAA Issues Covid Protocols and Attestation Procedures Ahead of 2021 Outdoor Championships




Testing Protocol and Attestation

  • All athletes, coaches, and staff are required to have one PCR test within 72 hours prior to the start of the competition. Results of the test must be known prior to competition and teams will be required to provide a signed attestation form agreeing to have met all COVID policies for testing, isolation, quarantine, and screening.

  • A COVID Testing Attestation form (Downloadable HERE) must be completed and signed by the Director of Athletics or designee and a certified Athletic Trainer. The form must be e-mailed to Irwin Cohen at neicaaa@aol.com no later than Thursday, May 13, 6:00 pm.

  • A team travel roster must be emailed to Irwin Cohen no later than 24 hours prior to the day of competition and include name, email, cell phone # for all athletes, coaches, and support staff.

Masking and Social Distancing

  • All coaches, staff and non competing athletes are required to wear a face covering.

  • All competing athletes are required to wear a face covering at all times except during warmups and competition

  • Physical distancing should be observed when possible.

  • All track and field officials will wear face covering.


Competition

  • Officials must be COVID screened with negative test 72 hours prior to the start of the competition.

  • All mask and social distancing requirements listed above must be observed.

  • Only people designated on the travel roster will be permitted in the facility.

  • No spectators, fans or non-team personnel will be permitted at the venue.
